The creative force behind Crystal Lake Pictures is Steven E. Smyth. Having studied photography at The School of Visual Arts and filmmaking at New York University, combined with his own unique view of the world, his art stands apart from the rest.
Steven had worked as a photojournalist, studio photographer, photo-composite artist, and director of short films, music videos, and corporate videos prior to launching Crystal Lake Pictures in 2014.
Steven brings his undying passion to create stunning imagery to every job.

Steve came to our wedding venue more than an hour earlier than scheduled and set everything up to perfection before the series of events began. Steve not only captured every single detail of the wedding, including the sign board, ceremony decor, reception table setting, wedding cake, and the skylight in the reception room, but he also filmed candid moments that I shared with my bridal party and my mom.
